ICE 2006!

Enter into a land of ICE!
Imagine being in a midnight paradise of ICE...
this is kinda what it would look like.

The entire Nativity scene sculpted from hundreds of blocks of ice...
Baby Jesus was so pretty.

We were all bundled up in issued parkas, and then multi-layers of clothes underneath.
We all looked like waddling gold penguins.

The temp was sooo cold. They had the air set at O degrees!
So noses, cheeks, and chins were almost numb by the time we left.
Notice the red noses and cheeks on Desi & Dylan.

The sculptures were so clear and almost life like.All the details were perfect, from Santa's glasses to the horses mane.This penguin was playing with 3 others on the frozen pond.

Desiree wanted to taste the ice, and before I could say no, mouth to fence she went.
Mmmm, Good, came next.
Thank God it wasn't....uhhh I'm stuck!

The most beautiful scene had to be the 20ft Angel Ice sculpture.
Her wings stretched out at least 8ft wide. Lit so beautifully, with golden
candle light. Absolutely the most inspiring thing there.


The ICE Show was at the Gaylord Texas Hotel in Grapevine.

Truly a magnificent hotel. They had everything drenched in Christmas! Tall Trees with actual toy ornaments, a train display that was at least 30 ft long, life size Ginger bread houses and so much more. Such a great place to start off Christmas. We will defiantly be coming back next year.
