Santa 2006!

The beginning of a new year! And as we all find ourselves at Christmas again, we can’t believe that is fixing to start all over!

Dylan turned 6 this year and started first grade & his first year at football! What a big boy he is! While Desire turned her respective 3 and is now filling bubbas dare-devil shoes! Katie & Robert were blessed with their third child, Dakota Grace at the end of July this year. God always knows how to bless us. She is truly that! Perfect in every way! Katie, Robert & the kids have also found a new Church home and are loving their Church family. Dylan and Desire preformed in their first Christmas show this year! Dylan had two lines and successfully delivered both! “Awesome, you made cookies!” and “Awesome, can we eat the cookies now!” You can see why he was able to remember them both so well! Desire played the xylophone as they sung Jingle Bells, and gave the crowd her bashful smile!

Jacob and I are still on our way to a wedding. Plans are constantly being made and a date will be set soon. We were able to add to our family as well this year when we brought home a beautiful female white boxer, Zoe, in June. Luke, our one year old, fawn boxer, has loved having her in the home; I think more than we have. They get along beautifully and take care of each other. Zoe, like a child, knows who her bubba is and follows him around everywhere. She has grown so fast and almost as tall as he is at 6 months! As most of you know, they are our children, and we love them accordingly.

Mom and Dad celebrated their 31st anniversary this year! An amazing feat in America today. They are both enjoying their jobs and take every minute they can to enjoy their grandchildren.

Matthew graduated High School this year! YEAH! We were all so excited and proud. It has been a tough road, but now a complete and successful one! He has enjoyed working with dad, in telecom, and hoping to join in again when the next job arises.

I personally have enjoyed getting to rekindle some friendships from high school this year. It was mine & Jacob’s ten year reunion! Man, how time just flies by! I loved finding out how everyone has grown! Be it into adults, husbands & wives, or into amazing parents. I am so blessed to have them all as friends and so glad to have them in my life again. Friends are truly a blessing!

I hope this letter finds you all in good health and spirit! May your Christmas be a time of enjoyment and remembrance of how blessed you truly are this year!

Love to all!
